Under the direction of the Recreation and Intramural Manager, the Recreation Coordinator coordinates the Recreation program including Recreation Clubs and Competitive Clubs of the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC). He/she develops and recommends policies and directives for the Recreation program and completes all administrative tasks related to the delivery of the program. The Recreation Coordinator develops, updates and maintains the Recreation program registration online system and monitors the various Recreation Clubs online sites. He/she promotes and recruits participation in RMCC Recreation program, prepares media releases, articles, and promotional materials for the program. The Recreation Coordinator is also responsible for the coordination, monitoring and inspection of facilities and equipment.
Master’s degree in Recreation or in a related field AND some years of experience in recreation administration, or in a related field
Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or in a related field AND several years of experience in recreation administration, or in a related field
Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
Language Requirement: English or French Essential, Bilingual an asset
Second Official Language Proficiency
(English or French Essential, Bilingual an asset)
Level: N/A(No proficiency), 1(Basic), 2(Functional), 3(Advanced), 4(Professional)
- In the coordination of general recreation and sports programs
- In applying policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation
- In budget administration
Salary: $51,840 - $60,980 per annum
- Relocation benefits will not be provided
