Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Museum Gift Shop Supervisor, the Museum Gift Shop Clerk operates a cash register, maintains a float, receives payment by cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit and performs refunds, voids, and returns, as necessary. He/she maintains inventory, tracks purchases and sales and assists in the display of merchandise. He/she prepares reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists or databases.

Qualifications:

High school diploma AND some years’ experience in retail and basic accounting or bookkeeping

OR

An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered

Language requirement: English Essential, Bilingual an Asset

French Language Proficiency (Bilingual an asset)
