Job Description:

As a Retail Lead you will promote the company mission and standards, ensure all guests are approached in a friendly and professional manner with an eye towards creating a positive experience for every guest entering our store, and access customer needs and guide them through our products (Retail and Ticketing) in a friendly and informative manner. You will assist the Retail Supervisor with the day-to-day supervision of retail and ticket sales in Waterfront Gifts & Apparel.

Tasks include: executing a guest focused sales support culture, maintaining a clean, organized and functional environment for guests and staff, maintaining a clean, and fully stocked retail space for maximized sales, acting as support for Retail Supervisor regarding visual displays and staff supervision, maintaining ongoing staff familiarization of cruise, trolley and Kingston's Tourism attractions and activities, and promoting an environment which the staff are motivated to achieve sales.


We are looking for candidates with high energy and an eye for visual display, enthusiasm, for retail and goal oriented sales, a strong ability to work in a fast paced customer focused environment, excellent communication skills, a positive outlook and the ability to promote a positive environment for staff and customers, who are team players but have the ability to work extremely well alone, without direct supervision.
